Red light and skin health: what to expect
Skin is the easiest place to see change, because the 660 nm wavelength lands right where you can look at it in the mirror.

What red light does for skin
Red light supports fibroblast activity, which is the machinery behind collagen and elastin. It also helps calm the low-grade inflammation behind redness and uneven tone.
How to run a face session
Clean skin, no barriers, eyes protected.
- Cleanse first — makeup and heavy SPF sit between the light and your skin.
- Keep the panel 20–30 cm away and use protective goggles.
- Ten minutes is plenty; apply serums and moisturiser afterwards.
What it is not
This is not UV, so there is no tanning and no burn risk from the wavelengths themselves. It is also not a treatment for a medical skin condition — Deep Dose is a wellness device, and anything diagnosed belongs with your clinician.
